Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage kommen die Brexit-Rock-n-Roller in diplomatischer Mission auch dieses Jahr wieder auf den Kontinent – die Aktenkoffer vollgepackt mit frischen Pop-Knallern.
SCANDINAVIA scheute sich noch nie vor schwierigen Themen, wie zum Beispiel EasyJet-Urlaub, Obsessionen der Klatschpresse, Pubertätsprobleme oder auch Gentrifizierung. In diesem Jahr nimmt die Band zusätzlich auch aktuell das schwierige Thema „Libido des Mittelstands in post-truth Zeiten“ furchtlos ins Visier.
SCANDINAVIA ist eine DIY-Power-Pop-Band aus London. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2010 hat die Band vier Alben produziert und veröffentlicht: Good Living (2011), The Gods (2012), Big Noise! (2014) und World Power (2016).
Die vier Jungs aus England arbeiten gerade an ihrem fünften Album, welches voraussichtlich Ende des Jahres veröffentlicht wird.
Freunde von Billy Bragg, Hall & Oates, The Ramones, Brit-Pop und einem erfrischendem Glas San Pellegrino zum Frühstück werden an SCANDINAVIA ihre Freude haben!
SCANDINAVIA ist eine populäre Live-Band und spielt regelmäßig Shows in ganz Grossbritannien vom kleinen Pop-Punk-Festival bis hin zu Englands wichtigstem Indie-Rock-Festival „A Carefully Planned Festival“.
Auch international sind SCANDINAVIA gefragt. In 2014 hat die Band mit ihrer ScandinAsia Tour Hong Kong, Manila, Shenzhen, Shanghai und Beijing besucht. Die diesjährige Europa Tour schließt an den Erfolg des letzten Jahres an, als SCANDINAVIA auf ihrer Europatour unter anderem Station in Amsterdam, Den Haag, Münster oder Leipzig aufgetreten sind.
